SHEA at ICEF South Asia 2026: Building Meaningful Connections in Sri Lanka, Colombo

Posted on :

SHEA proudly participated in ICEF South Asia 2026 held last February 16–18, 2026, at the Shangri-La Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event brought together educators, ICEF- accredited agents, and service providers. All focused on one shared goal — strengthening international education partnerships across South Asia.

Represented by our CEO and Country Manager for Sri Lanka, we were able to establish several high-potential partnerships focused on driving student recruitment and long-term collaboration. The event also opened doors to potential partnerships with agencies in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan.

Agents expressed strong interest in our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, which continues to be seen as highly marketable and demand-driven. They were also keen to learn more about SHEA’s history, offshore student community, program offerings, entry requirements, and PR pathways.

Building on the momentum, the work continues beyond the event, with on-ground agent visits and practical webinars designed to move partnerships forward and support student recruitment.

ICEF South Asia 2026 was more than just a networking event — it was a meaningful step in SHEA’s commitment to building global pathways and preparing students for success in a rapidly evolving world. We look forward to welcoming Sri Lankan students at SHEA
